spiral ducting
We not only manufacture but also carry large stocks of spirally wound ducting. The ducting is manufactured from 3" (76 mm)ø to 55" (1400 mm) ø and in standard lengths of 3000 mm and 4000 mm long(6000 mm long on request). The ducting is manufactured in galvanised or stainless steel with material thickness between 0.6 mm and 1.2 mm.
Spiral ducting can be used to great advantage over ordinary circular or rectangular ducts.
Size for size, spiral ducting is structurally stronger and more rigid and therefore can be supplied in longer lengths, thus reducing the cost of installation and minimizing any leakage from a system.
Further advantages are that spiral ducting is inherently stronger and using thinner material compared to ordinary ducting can make considerable cost savings.
